xport <folder>

Terminal window
xport ./folder

Shares a local directory through a temporary public URL with a browsable listing. The command stays in the foreground until you stop it (Ctrl-C) or the session expires.

Example output:

____ _
__ _| _ \ ___ _ __| |_
\ \/ / |_) / _ \| '__| __|
> <| __/ (_) | | | |_
/_/\_\_| \___/|_| \__|
Sharing folder: ./folder
Browse: https://k7fz2.xport.sh
Expires: 2026-10-21 18:30:00 CET
Press Ctrl-C to stop.
  • Browsable listing — directories first, then files with sizes; filter box, name/size sorting, list/grid toggle, breadcrumbs, and a “Download this folder as ZIP” button on every directory page. The header chip counts down the real session expiry.
  • Files are served with Range support (resume/download managers work).
  • ZIP downloads stream the whole subtree, excluding hidden files and directories (anything starting with .).
  • Paths are normalized so requests can never escape the shared root.
  • --name, --expires, and --password work as for xport <port>.
  • Hidden files (.env, .git, …) are never listed, served, or zipped.
  • The page is self-contained on the inside-xPort design; fonts load from the xPort CDN.

All persistent options apply: --name, --expires, --password, --qr, --copy, --detach, --json.
